Nesthub goes to 10 volume when I cast from my phone

When I cast from my phone to my nesthub it seems to default to level 10 (max) volume. Nesthub would be on a lower level as is my phone before casting.

Is it possible to stop this default so that I don't get blasted with sound when it connects?

I'd say  check with people in the house that have reason to mess with the volume pushing you from the only administrator of your entire Nest system when you have more than one person in your home and a person is using somebody else's email the person who's actual email it is can do what they want to so make sure that that is straightened out so you are sole administrator of your Smart Home. These things are very easy to hack & screw around with making you think you're nuts

Hi everyone,

@IamWes718, Thanks for the help.

@BT, I know how it feels when something isn’t working as it should, let’s get this resolved. Try to do a reboot on your Nest Hub to refresh the device. If that did not work try to do a full reset and see if that will make a difference.

Keep me in the loop.

Best,

Juni
