I have a Nest Hub, an original Home speaker, and 2 Nest Mini (gen2) speakers working fine, but I am unable to complete setup of a third Nest Mini (gen2). I have tried multiple resets of the device but it always fails to complete the setup. The other 2 worked flawlessly when setting them up. I haven't done anything differently with this device so fear there is something wrong with it.

I've been unable to get the device to work properly. I can stream music to it, but am unable to change the speaker name or add it to a new or existing group of speakers. I've basically given up on it as nothing I've tried works. Reset and restarted the setup process multiple times. It doesn't work like any of the other google speakers I have (2 other Nest Minis, an original Home speaker, and the Nest Hub.

Hello, just wanted to add that I am experiencing similar issues. Got a Nest Mini (gen2) that I would like to set up. It successfully connects to wifi and I am then asked to set up all the media connections (e.g. connection to Spotify, youtube, Netflix, etc.). Then I get a screen saying "Configuring your nest mini hang tight, it shouldn't be more than a few moments", which is consistently followed with "There was a problem setting up Netst Mini". The speaker now shows up on the google home screen, but when clicking on it the screen says "Not available - cant see speaker on this Wi-Fi network...). Unlike Tryphan I cannot stream audio to the speaker.
