I just purchased 2 Nest Mini (Gen 2) and one of them will not stay powered on. If I plug it in, the four dots on top pulse for 30-45 seconds, then it shuts off. Completely unresponsive. My Home app doesn't even detect that it exists. The other Mini set up normally and works perfectly. I've got two other Nest devices in the house and am generally comfortable with the setup process.
Is this one defective, or is there some kind of known issue happening here?

Hi brightside,
That certainly hasn't been easy for you ― let’s check this out. You have been told that your Google Nest Mini is defective by a customer service representative. If you don't mind me asking, what troubleshooting steps have you done with them? What was the resolution?
I'll be waiting for your response.
Best,
Dan

We power cycled the device then attempted a factory reset, and also tried plugging it into a different power cable. Since the issue was the device shutting down after 30 seconds, nothing worked. They agreed it was defective and shipped a replacement.
