Next hub max camera can't stream to other hubs and Chromecast with Google TV

This used to work, but now it won't after changing to the Pixel 7 Pro.

The camera on my nest hub max works when I use the Home or Nest apps. I still get motion or people alerts to my phone.

However, when I ask assistant to show or stream the hub max's camera to another display, it says that it doesn't have that functionality!

It worked fine when I was using the Pixel 6. Is this a feature that was dropped or is it a glitch in changing phones? I already removed the hub max from the home and tried resetting and adding it back in the home and that it still won't work.

This is a widespread problem. As you noted, the camera on the NHM actually works. You can stream it on an Android or Apple phone on the Google Home app. However, after the Fuscia update by Google, you cannot stream it on another Nest Hub Max or a Neat Hub. WTF, Google? Please stop telling people to check their firmware and restart their unit or restart their network or do any of the other “fixes” that usually do not fix anything. This feature was working fine until Google distributed the update. Please get it fixed so that folks can once again use their Nest Hub Max to stream the other Nest Hub Max: in their nursery to see the baby; in their lobby to see people as they come through the entrance door; or otherwise use the streaming capacity of Nest Hub Max as it was advertised and as they want to use it.

Any updates to this fix? We were using it as a baby monitor but can now only view thru our phones. Not working on other hubs or thru Chromecast on TV's.

Ours started working again on it's own (I'm assuming some update I was unaware of came thru). The strange thing is that periodically it still just quits working for a day or two and then comes back. It was too unstable so we ended up purchasing another camera and use that.

And what camera did you get, if I may ask? Does it work with the Google hubs for displaying, or does it come with its own display as well?

Ours still doesn't work on the hubs at all, and even on the phone it is very unstable 😞 so I am looking into other options...

We ended up with the Google nest camera. We already had one outside that never stopped working on the hubs, even when the hub camera didn't work, so we got another one. Haven't had any issues viewing the cameras on any of our hubs.

Is there any hope here for an update?

This is still a completely debilitating problem. If I could return my Nest Hub Maxes, I would. If my experience is any indication, then do not buy them if you are counting on monitoring the NHM camera watching your baby or the entrance to your home  or anything else with the NHM camera on another NHM. They do not stay connected long and cut off randomly. The moment you hear the door open and you look to your NHM on your desk is when you realize that the connection dropped -- again.

This has been going on for over a year now, is there a fix? Streaming works fine on my Android phone both in the Home app and in the Nest app, but not on another hub. We are using our Nest Hub Max as a baby monitor in the nursery and want to stream it to other hubs n the bedroom and the kitchen.
