Nexx garage PIN containing a "4"

I'm trying to get my Nest Hub Max to open my garage door.   When executing the command, the google assistant asks for my PIN.  When I voice my numeric PIN, the assistant uses "for" instead of "4".  The PIN entry fails and my garage door does not open.

How can I overcome this (or do I simply need to change my PIN)?
