No audio when streaming google hubs

I am not getting an audio on my hub and hub max devices when streaming them. It is also happening when I stream them from my iPhone. Resetting them wasn’t helpful. There are other post with the same issue so I’m assuming this is a software issue. Please advise

Hi Rj57,

 

This is not the experience we want you to have; let me help you. A few questions: when did your issue begin? Were there any recent changes made? Is the issue happening on all streaming platforms when casting to your Nest displays? When you did the reset, was it the same steps as what you see in this link?

 

It would help a lot if you could do a sequential reboot first: 

 

  1. Unplug the power cord of your router, followed by your Nest speakers.
  2. Plug them back in after 3 minutes.
  3. Restarting your phone might also help.

 

Once done, could you try to give any command or question to see if both your Nest displays will respond?

I may have worded my issue wrong. The speakers on the hubs work. My issue is when streaming hub A to view hub B, I can not hear the audio from Hub B.

Apologies for the delay. I just wanted to make sure that we’re on the same page. Are you trying to stream from hub A to hub B using the app on your phone? What app are we working with? Do you have a camera connected to your Google Home app and Nest displays?
