No longer possible to ask for Recipies?

LisaSweden

Since I got Google Nest Hub I have frequently used the function to ask for Google to show recipies. I would for example say "Hey Google, show recipies for pancakes" or "Hey Google, show recipies with aubergine and tomato".

Nest would then show several recipies that was found online. I have been able to use this function in Swedish.

Since a few months Google, on this type of question for recipies, replies that it unfortunately does not understand the question.

I have found that you have made changes https://support.google.com/assistant/answer/13971691?hl=sv (in swedish)

Translated info: Access or manage your cookbook, transfer recipes from one device to another, play an instructional video for a recipe, or view recipes step by step. You can search for recipes on the web and on YouTube with Google Assistant.

I understand that changes have been made, Im not happy at all with that and would very much like to know what functions are still available to forfill my need to search for recipies. In the text it says "You can search for recipes on the web and on YouTube with Google Assistant.". What shall I ask Google to do this for me??

Nest hub also, when asked to show CookBook, says that I must go to google.com/saves to get them to Nest Hub, but I do not understand how to do that. I have recipies saved in Cookbook, how do I get them back to Nest Hub?

Hi LisaSweden,

Thanks for posting in the community!

I understand it is really frustrating when you try to use a feature that is not available anymore. We're actively looking for ways to improve the experience you have with our products and services. So I encourage you to send feedback through the Google Home App so that our technical team has all the comments and can reconsider whether this feature returns.

You can read in this article about how to send feedback through the Google Home App.

If you have more questions for me, feel free to reply to this post. I'll be happy to assist further.

Best regards,

Nery.
