So, with latest update my Google Home Assistant is not able to turn off the lights or the fan (as it is now set as a switch) if I say: "Turn off the fan in 20 minutes." The feature was was working for years. It seems that Google was sued by some mad mom in US who tied up her hair in the celeing fan.
Nevertheless, I found a workaround - I created a custome routine
1. Turn on the fan
2. Delay 15 minutes
3. Announce On Hub Turned on the fan for 15 minutes.
Activated by saying: 15 minutes.
However, when activated, hub says the following: There is nothing named Hub on your account. (I checked and it is linked with my account. It is named Hub).
When I am not specifying where should it announce that - it announces it on a bedroom speaker, not on hub, where I need it to be announced.
Can someone help me?
1. I already rebooted my internet router and Hub.
2. I already checked that my Hub is linked to my Google account.
3. I checked that my Hub is added to the correct room in my Home and it is called Hub.

I had the same problem for a routine. I got it to work by changing the announce step to Announce to Household, and then choosing only the device I want to hear the announcement on. Works like it used to now. Modify your Announce step and select Announce to Household instead of Announce on device that started the routine.

Thanks, I'll try that now.

Cool! Curious if it works or not.

Hi folks,
Thanks for the help here, Alking_daking.
CrazyDwarf, thanks for reaching out. Let us know if the step provided by Alking_daking worked for you by updating this thread. You can try to rename your Google speaker something other than Hub. Also, see these helpful links for more information about broadcast and routine features.

Hello, still not announcing on Hub despite it's being the DEFAULT speaker in the Household. It announces on another speaker.

Hi CrazyDwarf,
Thanks for trying that, and I am sorry that you are still experiencing it. You can try to factory reset your Google Nest Hub. This erases all your personalized settings and restores the factory default settings. It won’t automatically reconnect to WI-Fi, and you’ll need to set it up again. Check out the article below to know more about it.
Factory reset Google Nest or Home speakers or displays

Or, maybe Google should stop taking away features that have been working flawlessly from the customers. Earlier, I could just say "Turn on the fan for 30 minutes." Now, Google Home just says I cannot so that. What a shame.
