We have a number of Nest devices, in the form of Nest Speakers, Nest Hubs and a Nest Home Max. My home office is at the bottom of the garden and my wife uses them to broadcast messages to me when she needs things (particularly useful at the moment given she's seven months pregnant).
This has worked fine for months. As of this morning, it no longer recognises those devices for the purposes of an individual device broadcast, but only for her.
The "Home" is set up using my account but she is added as a household member with full device access. I can say (to any of the devices) "Broadcast to Office" and it will ask me the message and send it. Fine.
If my wife says to any of the devices "Broadcast to Office", it says "Sorry, it looks like there isn't anything named Office in your account so I can't broadcast your message.".
Before today it worked perfectly.
A few things to note:
1. I'm using the Office device as an example. It doesn't matter which device she chooses (she could say "Broadcast to Kitchen), the result is the same;
2. If she does a general broadcast, I.e doesn't specify which device, it will successfully broadcast to every device in the house, so it is connected to them;
3. If I go into her Google Home app, all of the devices are showing and are fully controllable. She can manage their settings, cast to them directly from her phone etc. So they are in her account and are named and showing correctly.
I tried removing her from the Home entirely and readding her, but it made no difference.
I've uploaded a video of the issue to YouTube here.
Thanks.

I am experiencing a similar problem.
2 devices capable of broadcast are set up under my account via Google Home. My wife is added in as a member.
She can broadcast to all devices OR a specific device whereas I can only broadcast to all devices at once.
I get the message that the selected device is not linked to my account and can't be found. All devices appear correctly in my Google Home App.
I have removed the devices from the home group, factory reset them and added them back in.
I have also removed, re-added and retrained my voice match.
Neither of these actions fixed the issue.
A suggested fix would be appreciated as this is a much used feature in our household.
Thanks.

Hi everyone!
Thanks for your interest in our community.
It seems Google Assistant has trouble recognizing specific device names for broadcast messages. Here are some troubleshooting steps that might help:
As an additional tip, you can restart all your Nest speakers since sometimes a simple reboot can fix communication problems.
Make sure to keep me posted on how it goes.
Regards,
Angel.
