Hi everyone,
I wanted to share an idea for improving the Nest Hub’s sleep sensing feature. It would be really cool if users could optionally enable temporary sound recordings (like snoring or coughing) during sleep that can be played back when waking up. These recordings would only be stored for a short, user-defined time (like 1, 6, or 12 hours) and then automatically deleted.
It would be great if this feature was off by default and required users to opt in during setup or in the settings, so privacy is respected and users have full control.
I think this would offer a good balance between privacy and the usefulness of hearing sleep sounds, and would improve the overall user experience.
What do you all think? Has anyone else thought about this?
Thanks for reading!
