Out of sync with TV out

I'm trying to replace my old TV sound bar with a pair of Google nest audio speakers.  The LG TV Bluetooth pairs with the Google speakers ok, but the sound is very out of sync with the picture.  How can this be fixed?  I spent a whole evening.  I think I shall have to return the speakers as they do not function correctly.

You're telling me these speakers will NOT sync to an LG big screen or Apple TV4k?

I got into a chat with them and they told  me it wasn't an officially supported feature - so that's that

Wow, what a crock of crap !!!!!

Hey all,

I am sorry to hear about the trouble still with the TV being out of sync. I did find some troubleshooting steps that may be of help. Please let me know if you are still having any trouble from here, as I would be happy to review.

Is your TV connected to any external sound system, like an AV receiver or soundbar?

Does your TV model support surround sound?

In Chromecast device Display and Sound Settings set the resolution and framerate to the highest supported.

If issues still persists, force stop the applications in question and open them again to verify synchronisation.

If you do not use a surround sound system, when watching a movie from any application, do not select 5.2 soundtracks, but only the stereo soundtracks.

Ensure that applications are up to date.

Navigate to the Chromecast apps list, select Netflix and Disney, one by one, and clear their cache.

If all else fails, uninstall the applications, then install a fresh version from Google PlayStore.

Best regards,

Jake

I have the same issue one speaker is fine two is not watchable. It should work fine because when I stream audio on the pair it works. Will google just not fix it ?

I have the same issue. Just got them from Black Friday but I think I will have to return them. My old sound bar syncs perfect but the Nest Speakers have a huge lag.

I'm still debating if I should keep one I don't have a sound bar and my tv sound is decent to be honest and I hate having things that I don't use

Im in the same boat. I have a Bose sound bar which is in perfect sync with optical input but the Nest Bluetooth cannot sync. This is TOO popular of a brand to be having this issue, there has to be a fix.
