Picture frame not showing all my pictures in album

I am very disappointed. I bought the Google Nest because I wanted a digital photo frame. I have made an album and only certain pictures from that album are showing up. 

I’ve tried switching from live album to all album. I’ve tried different albums and it does the same thing… only certain pictures are chosen.

Thanks for reaching out and letting us know about your photo frame concern. We'll work together to identify the cause of the problem and find a solution. A few questions: what Google Nest display model do you own? Did it work before? If so, were there any recent changes made before it started? 

You can refresh your devices and observe if it makes a difference. First, reboot your Wi-Fi router, and once the network is back up, do the same thing to your Google Nest Hub.

I have a brand new Google Nest Frame 2nd Generation.

I did both those things... still doesn't work. 

The album has 200 pictures and I see the same 20 over and over again.

Thanks for trying the steps. Could you try to mark some of your photos as "Favorites" and see if this would make any changes. 

You can add or remove albums with the Home app or your Nest display.

Home app:

1. Open the Home app .
2. Tap Favorites or Devices .
3. Tap and hold your device's tile.
4. Tap Settings Photo Frame Google Photos.
5. Select albums to add and deselect albums to remove.

Nest display:

1. Say "Hey Google, change Photo Frame."
2. Tap Google Photos.
3. Select albums to add and deselect albums to remove.

Available albums include auto-selected albums like "Recent highlights," your private Google Photos albums, and your shared albums that have a name.
