Speakers "Not avalible" via Home App with same Wi-Fi.

Hello - hoping you can help with a repeated issue I'm facing!

Every time I go to connect my phone (Samsung S22 Ultra, Android, all up to date) to a speaker in my home it tells me that it is "Not available".

However, all speakers and my device show a single matching Wi-Fi Network.

I've checked that location settings are always-on. Reset my device. Turned off celluar data. "Forgot" all networks and reconnected. Yet, I open the home app to:

  • Home App > Speaker > "Not available" Can't see speaker on this Wi-Fi network. Check that it's online and that your phone or tablet is connected to the same Wi-Fi network".

Can anyone please help?

I am at a loss, and it's all devices in my home!

Hi A_Webber,

Thanks for reaching out and letting us know about your concern. We'll work together to identify the cause of the problem and find a solution. A few questions: when did it begin? Were there any recent changes made? Also, is the Google Home app updated? You can re-install the Google Home app and observe if it makes a difference. Using another phone will also help us isolate this.

Regards,

Juni
