Play Notifications only on Google Nest hub?

I recently purchased a new LG washer and dryer which uses their Thinq wifi connected App. I have the App and devicesconnected to my Google Home. When either machine completes a cycle my Google speaker notification verbally tell me that it’s complete. The issue is that this notification plays on all my Google speakers and my one main Google hub. I would only like it to play/notify me on the Hub only. Is this possible?

Hi @twinvipers,

Thanks for posting on the community forum. That's a great question, and I'm happy to help you control where you receive LG Thinq notifications. To help me with that, I have a few questions:

  • How many Google Home speakers and displays do you currently have?
  • Do you have a speaker group set up that includes all your devices?
  • Have you created a custom routine for LG Thinq notifications?

If you have a speaker group, delete that one and create a custom speaker group that only includes the device you want to receive notifications for. You can also control notification behavior on individual speakers and displays: Turn Nest displays notifications on or off.

Cheers,

Jonathan
