So it says that you can control plugs and switches with the home and away routines but the only devices listed to control are the HUE lights I have. Home recognizes the Kasa plugs I have and can control them with other routines but not home and away? So how can home and away control my plugs too?

Hey Iggyinpa,
That certainly hasn’t been easy for you, let’s check what’s going on.
A few questions: what Google Home or Google Nest speaker and displays do you have? Have you tried reinstalling your Google Home app?
Give these steps a try:
To set up presence based routines, ask the customer to do the following:
Looking forward to your response.

I saw someone's response but I figured it out on my own. The plugs weren't added to my home, just to Google Home which is silly. I'm also disappointed how slow the gen 2 Nest is. Makes me want to switch back to Alexa.

Yes, this worked fine. However, I'm disappointed with the response time from my devices, it's just so slow compared to my Alexa devices. They talk too much too. May just stick with Alexa instead.
