Radio National not in my state time zone how do I fix this

Default radio station on wrong time zone.

Thank you for your message. I can understand your concern of your default radio station on the wrong timezone. I would be more than happy to help resolve this issue! First, I have some questions regarding this situation.

  • Which Google device is this post in regard to? (model name, generation number)
  • Does your actual device show the correct time?
  • Just confirming, do you have the correct address listed in the Google Home App?
  • What app are you using for your radio station?
  • Do other apps show the incorrect timezone?
  • Is your device powering on and working normally besides this issue?
  • Have you tried any troubleshooting steps to the device itself? If so, what have you tried so far?

 

Just a friendly reminder, here are the steps to change the home address of your devices

  1. Open the Google Home app Google Home app.
  2. At the top, make sure your home name is listed. If needed, tap the name to change your home.
  3. Tap Settings  and then Home information and then Home address​.
  4. Enter your address and then Save.

Note: When you change the home address, it will only affect the devices in the home you selected. You can edit or delete this address at any time.
