Reminders not broadcasted on my speakers

I told my Google Assistant to set a reminder for 4pm to do a task. 

I used the speaker to set the reminder. 

But its not reminding me. 

It shows up as a reminder on my Google Calendar- but I dont get a notification on my phone and I dont get a reminder from the speaker. 

How do I set the speaker to read out the reminder at the time for the task?

I want to be able to tell the speaker to set a reminder and then read it out loud at the time for the task. 

(My Android version is 10)

And to add onto my issue- 

The reminder doesnt end up on the time I asked for. 

It ends up 2 hours after I asked for it to be set- so if its 12.45 and I ask for it to set a reminder for 16.00- the reminder ends up on 14.45 and it says - do this at X time. 

If I ask for it to remind me in 10 mins- it still ends up 2 hours later
