I added a room to my Smartthings called decking for the decking lights, so I can control them separately to the garden. The room shows in the Google Home App, and the lights can be controlled. However, they are not showing on any of the displays or speakers or the Max. I have rebooted, and reset several of the displays to no avail. Any help would be good.

Hi, Sorry for the delay, I was at a funeral, so to further this discussion, I "fixed" it in the end by disconnecting Smartthings, turning off all the hubs, (The ST Hubs) then turned them back on and reconnected, However it lasted about a week as when I made a change it did it again, I am convinced that this is an issue if you use the Smartthings IDE, and not the app, if I made a change on the App it seemed to take, but not if that same change was made on the IDE, My final solution is to drop Smartthings, I have moved over to Home Assistant, works so well with Google, If I make a change on that you can have the app open and you will see it update in about 20 secs, absolutely brilliant. I wanted to keep Google as I feel it is a better system.

Having the same issue. A few people have suggested changing the language and that’s not worked at all.

Hi Dan, Just for clarity I didn't solve this by moving everything to Google Home, Google Home has no Zigbee network, I solved it by removing Smartthings and moving all my devices to Home Assistant, but I do have to say Google works so well with HA, I would advise people to give it a try. Thanks for your time, Andrew

An update from me. The issue has resolved itself…amusingly after posting on forums to explain the issue and contacting support.
unlike the original poster, I was using smart things but had the same symptoms.
Voice command worked but the rooms or any devices were not visible on the display.
We decided that we’ll just use voice command, and a day or so later the rooms appeared. Not after any direct action, just time passing.
Prior to this, no amount of WiFi or device resetting made any difference. It just needed time apparently. Or a maybe it was my moany email to support…?
Are you trying to view and control your lights on your Google Nest Display?
