Same songs keep getting repeated when playing YouTube Music in my Nest Hub

I ask Google Home to play a song from a specific artist, beging with the songs... after 3 or 4 the same songs repeat...

I am using my  YouTube Music subscription.

I've been keeping a close "ear" to the Google Home when its playing songs... The original problem started for me about 2 months ago... but now the repeating is mostly fixed.... I cant figure it out... there are many people stating they have the same problem and I am not aware that google or YouTube music have deployed any general solution... but for me, the problem has been fixed... and I cant say I changed anything significant in how I use the device...

I have linked my YouTube music to my Google speaker. My speaker has recently been repeating the same few sings over and over. Its getting very annoying, why is this suddenly happening?

When i ask google to shuffle my favorite music, it plays my favorite music from you tube, BUT, after a random period gets stuck on 2 or 3 songs. When I use chrome/you tube music on my PC and cast to the speakers, it seems to work better. Disappointing as I am paying for tis service. This is not a new problem.....

I have a Google Nest Mini. It's a couple years old. I solely use it to play music from YouTube Premium. As of last month it has been repeating the same 3-5 songs over and over and over. It's incredibly annoying. It also started making a "popping" sound every 10 minutes or so. Thinking the device needed to be replace I bought a brand new Google Next Mini Gen 2. Just set it up, same exact issues. 

I saw a thread where people described the repeating song issue -- has anyone had luck getting in contact with a customer service rep for Nest or YouTube Premium? Sounds like it's a software issue.

My Xiaomi mi speaker on the other hand does not crack.

I've had to resort to listening to kirtan/mantra music cos my nest mini keeps playing the same 2-3 songs again and again. Honestly the fact that they haven't integrated chat gpt grade AI into this device yet is so disappointing.

This is an issue I continue to have still to this day. No matter how I ask my nest to play music (by song or artist name, or just play me some music) it will play 1-3 and repeat them over and over.

I really hope google can fix the issue with a firmware update. I will not replace my hub max with the inferior google pixel tablet as a solution.

Its 22 October 2023, I'm having the same issue as everyone else. Using a Google nest mini (maybe 1st gen), YouTube Music works fine on other devices. I've a premium account - not sure of thats relevant or not.

I've got the same problem with the mini nest as well as with my Xiaomi Mi speaker.

Problem seems related between hey google and youtube music.

It's there that the manufactors should start looking.

So where are you at with this issue? Had anything even been worked on?  On just got charged for my subscription but I'm not getting what I paid for. You need to stop charging, you're not proving what we're paying for. So... Has this been worked on?

If you mean Youtube Music : the problem occurs as well on free accounts as on premium accounts.

With the free account of Youtube Music the problem is the same.

On the other hand Spotify works fine.
