You're absolutely right; it can be frustrating to see extra accounts on your Google Hub when they shouldn't be there. Here's how you can tackle this:.
1. Open the Google Home App: Locate the Google Home app on your phone or tablet and launch it.
2. Select Your Hub: Look for your Google Hub device within the app and tap on it to access its settings.
3. Find User Management: Depending on your app version, the section you're looking for might be called "Home Controls," "Users & Accounts," or something similar. Locate this section and access it.
4. Identify Unnecessary Profiles: This section should display a list of user profiles currently linked to your Hub. Check for any profiles you don't recognize or no longer use.
5. Remove Unwanted Profiles: If you find profiles you don't need, you can remove them. The specific steps might vary slightly depending on your app version, but generally, you can tap on the unwanted profile name and then select "Remove" or "Delete."
