Hi Google

We had IFTTT working 2 years ago to send SMS when saying 'Hey Google, Send text to xyz'

you removed the option last year.

this is REALLY crucial to my mum, as she is registered blind, you have cut off the only means for her to communicate to the outside world and family.

so what is the solution ?

I know how it feels when things aren't working the way it should be. IFTTT is a third party app usually used for home automation and other actions on Google Assistant powered devices such as Google Nest speakers. 

Changed has come to how Google Assistant works with IFTTT — while these services are moved to a different platform, you can still reconnect IFTTT to your Google Home App and rebuild or re-add your Applets. Here's how: https://goo.gle/3Sql4zd

Please provide the EXACT process to send a SMS TEXT from Google nest mini

I don't believe Google has re-enabled IFTTT to do this at all.  You have removed a crucial service that us blind rely on.  Not funny.

Right now, we can't provide any time frame to when it will be available again. It's between Google Assistant and IFTTT's integration. I would also recommend reaching out to IFTTT to let them know about these changes.
