Shuffle not working.

Shuffle doesn't fully work. Find that on a good day 50 - 70 songs at the most will shuffle then after that the playlist will continue in mostly original order. When I try to shuffle again, it begins the playlist with the songs that already played in mostly the same order as before. I pay for this so I can enjoy my full playlist 1700+ songs, but I only seem to get about 150 at the most. 

 I cleared cookies and updated everything, but none of that helps the problem. It is clearly a YT issue. I see this was a big issue in 2019 without any action on it.

Did you ever figure out how to fix this? I am having the same problem with ytm and it drives me crazy. I have a playlist thats barely 250 and it still only shuffles a handful, and it doesn't even continue onto the rest of them, those same songs repeat

@scarret01 and @sidhe, a few questions: was this working before? Do you have an active YouTube Music subscription? What troubleshooting steps have you tried?

Please try renaming your playlist to see if the same problem happens. Check if your playlist shuffles through all your songs when listening on your phone to further isolate the issue.

I'm sorry for the delay and thanks for giving me an update. I want to check if this is only happening when you're playing on Google Home or if the same issue comes up when you're playing on your phone and other devices.

No, since Google play switched to yt music nothing works right, and I'm not going to pay to play music I already paid for because that's ridiculous. So no, not good to go at all

I understand your point. However, we'd like to confirm if you are only unable to shuffle the playlist when playing on the Google Home and Nest devices or even when playing on your phone. In that way, we can further isolate if the issue is with the speakers or YouTube Music.
