“Sorry that can’t be done on this device”

The original thread  got locked so I’ve created a new post as advised by @Juni 

update : I factory reset one of my 5 nest devices as instructed. After the reset, the Assistant on that Nest still informs me that “Sorry, that request can’t be done “ when asked to set alarms (despite successfully setting the alarm) 

 

Despite the “that request cannot be done” msg, alarms are successfully set. We will ignore the msg and carry on.

My apologies for the late response. I know the feeling when there's something that isn't working on your Google Nest Mini. I noticed that you already have an existing case, and one of our team members is in touch with you via email.  To confirm, have you tried the steps provided to you on email? If not, please follow the steps below:

 

  1. Go to https://goo.gle/3MBBZy9
  2. Click Other Activity
  3. Look for Routines
  4. Delete
    • Take note that it will delete all the Routines for the account.
  5. Create the Routine again.
