Spotify: We have Premium Family But Can't Play Our Music Separately

Hi, hoping for some help here. This issue seems quite common and I have tried various approaches but to no avail. Just to be clear, I am paying for Spotify Family Premium and when my wife (for example) is listening to music on our Nest Hub in the kitchen and I then try and play some music on the wifi/speaker point in my office, her music will end. Initially I thought this was due to voice match not being properly set up, but I can confirm it is and Google does recognise each of our family members. Some more searches led me to think the issue is with Spotify. I have been on the Spotify support line followed their advice by checking all my family's mobile devices and we are logged into our own accounts. I also tried their idea of logging out of all devices and then log back in but the problem persists. Note that we seldom use our mobile devices for playing music, rather we almost always use Spotify through Google Home. So I thought I would try play Spotify from our respective mobile devices simultaneously and it worked absolutely fine. This is why I think the issue is somehow with Google Home. I can confirm that Spotify is set as the default music player in the Google Home settings. Any thoughts? Thanks!

Have you tried changing you default music service to youtube music (free), on both of your accounts to see if the problem happens with a different service?

I have the same issue. It's because my google device only links to one account. And spotify only allows music to play from one device per account.

I don't think there's a way to add additional accounts to the google device is there?

I seem to recall reading somewhere that voice match needs to be set up to for this to work, which is what we have done for all 3 of us in our family. So the Google device should knows who is requesting music and if we have Spotify family premium it should allow us to listen to independently of each other
