Spotify casting on nest not included in history

So whenever I'm casting my Spotify account on my nest, nothing appears in my history on Spotify. I tried signing out and back in my Spotify account, and disconnecting/reconnecting my nest, but nothing changes.

 

Does anyone know how to fix this?

Hi,

Please correct me if I'm wrong, so you're saying you were playing a song and casted to your nest, however the song that you played was not in the spotify search history?

Exactly, all the songs casted don't appear in my history. Like my Spotify wasn't used.

Hi Vikalae,

 

This is not the experience we want you to have; let me help you. A few questions: which Nest speakers are we working with? Is the issue only happening when casting from your phone to your Nest device? Could you try to play a song via voice command and see if it’s recorded on your Spotify history page? Also, try to play a song from Spotify alone and see what happens.

Hello!

Apologies for the delay. I have a Nest Mini. 

I tried to play a fews songs from the Nest instead of from my phone, and it seemed to work for now!

but whenever I start a playlist from my phone and cast, then it doesn't work.

Hey there Vikalae,

Please make sure that your phone and Google Nest Mini are using the same Wi-Fi network. In that way, you'll be able to get the option to cast your playlist to the speaker. Also, ensure that your Google Home and Spotify are using the latest app versions.
