Hi cutie952j,
Thank you for reaching out to the community. I'm sorry that you're experiencing troubles with the voice of your Nest Mini that sounds different after a minute of use. I understand how confusing this must be. I'm here to help.
Before I begin, I need to ask a few questions for further assistance:
What language are you using?
Does Nest Mini never respond to the hotword, or is it only sporadic?
How long did your Nest Mini work as intended before experiencing this symptom?
How often do you experience this symptom?
Does the success rate vary depending on how far away you are from the device?
Does the situation occur only when you play music, or is it just when the Nest Mini replies to a command?
Where is your device placed?
Does the same situation occur when others are speaking to your Nest Mini?
Please keep me posted. I look forward to your response.
Regards,
Byron

Hi cutie952j,
Thank you for your response. I appreciate your answers. Based on this information, please do the following:
Make sure to test the microphone. On your Nest Mini, on the side of the device, toggle the mic; try to switch it off and then on. Your Assistant will say whether the microphone is muted. This is to test the Google Assistant response and hear the voice again.
Verify if the LED dots on top of your Nest Mini spin or blink when you say "Ok Google" or "Hey Google.".
In the meantime, try to reboot your Nest Mini. Here are the steps:
Disconnect the power cable from your device.
Wait 10 seconds.
Reconnect the power cable.
Let me know how it goes and keep me posted.
Regards,
Byron
