Time Request returns Calendar Events

"What time is it?" is prompting my Google nest mini speaker to read out calendar events. This is my most used request as I use my speaker as an alarm clock. Worse is when my partner asks the time, it cannot verify his voice. Please fix this or I will have to bring out the manual alarm clock.

That is happening on my device as well. Restart and Google Home/Google app's cache clearing hasn't helped me.
