Trouble adding and accessing personal recipes via Google Nest Hub Max, Cookbook, Collections

I am attempting to add personal recipes to my Google Cookbook. Reviewing a lot of posts, articles and YouTube videos, it's not clear exactly how to do this. What is the relationship between the 'Cookbook' and Collections? Is 'Cookbook' a collection? Are there clear instructions on how to add items to collections? Reading this New York Time article reviewing the Nest Hub Max, https://www.nytimes.com/wirecutter/blog/cooking-with-google-nest-hub-max/, it lists a number of sites 'compatible' with the Nest Hub Max: "If you use sites such as Allrecipes, Epicurious, Food52, Food Network, The Kitchn, Nom Nom Paleo, Serious Eats, or Tasty, to name a few, you’ll find their recipes fairly easily on either device (Google had a better record in this regard). " Is there a formal list of compatible sites Google has to provide? A YouTube video indicates you can add a personal recipe to one of these sites and then somehow add it to your Nest Hub Max. I have added personal recipes to Allrecipes and Whisk however can't find a way to import them to Cookbook. Whisk support indicates they don't currently support this feature. The lack of documentation/support in this area is astounding. Or it's so buried and hard to find.

@Princesssprovided some ideas in other posts, none have helped me to resolve this issue.

I have a Pixel 3a and the Google Home app installed on the phone, using my Google account. So I would assume both the Google Home, Phone and Nest Hub Max are on 'the same Google account'.

I purchased this as a Christmas gift for my wife and want to load all her personal, favorite recipes into the Cookbook. If this isn't possible I'd try to return it however I bought in October to ensure I had time to complete this task and the return rules say I had 15 days. 😞

Can you assist?

Thanks,

Contacted Google Support this morning and learned that there are no options available to port personal recipes from any sites into the Google Cookbook at this time. They did take a feature request to potentially add in the future.

Thanks for posting here in the Google Nest Community.

I totally understand that this is a good feature to use with your Nest Hub Max, but, this feature is not yet available. I'd suggest you submit feedback about it, here's how
