Trouble connecting nest system to new wi-fi

jennabee13

I recently switched WiFi providers from Xfinity to AT&T fiber internet.

I am trying to get ANY of my nest devices to connect and it keeps failing and providing the message:

  • Connection failed
  • Couldn't connect to Nest Hub. Make sure local network access is enabled for the Home app in your phone's privacy settings. Then try again.

i have checked my local network access and it is enabled. The only nest item I have that has connected without issue is an older nest thermostat. My nest hub displays, cameras and protects will not connect. Is this something with how my new WiFi is set up? I have access to advanced settings but don’t have a clue what could be blocking this setup from occurring.

thanks for any help.
