Hey TexHanlon,

Sorry to hear about your experience with your Google Home and Nest devices. We'd love to dig deeper into this. A few questions: did you change any settings on your router lately? How far are your devices from your router?

Let's try these steps below:

  1. Move your Google Home devices within 15-20 ft. away from the router to get enough signal from your network.
  2. Reboot your speakers and router by disconnecting them from the power source and leave them unplugged for 1 minute. Once done, plug them back one at a time with intervals.
  3. If it's still the same try setting up one of your devices on a mobile hotspot. Please note that you will need two mobile devices for this setup (one will serve as a router and the other to be used to set up your speaker). Once done, check if your device will have the same behavior.

Let us know how it goes.

Cheers,

Muddi

I have been working on this problem for about 3 weeks since it started and had already performed all that you suggested.  I went back to factory on all the assistant devices, reset switches and everything else under the sun..  nothing had  changed on any part of my system  when it started failing. to keep this short i'll jump to it.  I am a user of starlink for my isp just fyi.   The problem was solved when I switched to bypass mode on the starlink system and bypassed the starlink router and connected through one of my own routers. it seems they may have updated their latest router firmware that started dropping out on my assistant hubs and minis. it seemed not to affect anything else on my network which is quite large.   I will probably switch back to their router after a few more FW updates to see if this was corrected. The system has not failed in the last several hours and it was constant.  seemed like when the devices were not used for a time it would take several attempts to connect through them and would work until they sat doemant for a little while. it would then take several attempts before functioning correctly again.  I want to thank you for getting back with me and for your assistance. I hope this might help others who use starlink as their ISP.  IF I can help with anything please let me know.  Best wishes.
