Hello. The tune in application does not work in my Google Nest Hub 2 device , more precisely it opens the application but does not start the radio station. It's strange that it works on the phone... What can I do?

Hi Turzanski,

This is not the experience we want you to have, let me help you. A few questions: when did your issue begin? Were there any recent changes made? Was it working before? What commands were you giving? What radio stations aren’t working?

It would help a lot if you could do a sequential reboot first:

  1. Unplug the power cord of your router, followed by your Nest speakers.
  2. Plug them back in after 3 minutes.
  3. Restarting your phone might also help.

Once done, try to other stations to see if we can isolate it further.

Best,

Dan

Hello. In the meantime I discovered that some radio stations work, others don't. For example, if I give the command hey google play magic fm - it works, but if I say hey google play romantic radio - it doesn't work.

Hello Turzanski,

Chiming in, please note that we can only guarantee the full functionality of the Nest Hub (2nd gen) in those countries where it was officially released, and Romania is currently not one of them. Also, TuneIn now offers a premium account, and some radio stations can only be accessed on their website or other devices if you subscribe to their premium services.

As a workaround, try changing the language of your device to EN_US to see if it allows you to play the station you want. Please keep in mind that this is only a workaround and may not necessarily work.

Let us know if you have additional questions or concerns about your device, otherwise, I'll lock the thread after 24 hours.

Cheers,

Muddi
