Tunein Fails to play radio on Chromecast Audio from Google Nest Hub 2

When I ask the Nest Hub to play a radio station such as RTE Lyric FM or a BBC channel it works fine, but when I ask it to play that on a Chromecast Audio called "KitchenSystem" it fails without any error, the screen just returns to the normal picture after a few seconds.  I can stream Spotify with any issue by asking for it to play on "Kitchen System". I have another chromecast audio and another Nest Hub 2 that gives the same issue. This used to work fine up until about 2 weeks ago.  I've tried resetting both the chromecasts and the Nest Hubs but it makes no difference.  Changing the name of the chromecast to the default "Kitchen Speaker" worked for a short while and then stopped.  The issue only occurs with TuneIn, despite the fact I can go to the TuneIn service in a browser on my phone and cast to either of the Chromecasts directly, so the issue seems to be with the Nest Hubs.

I've just had the same problem. Fixed by going into the settings of the Chromecast Audio in the home app and manually selecting which groups that device is in, despite having worked correctly before. Hope that helps.

Hi DeltaX,

I tried creating groups and putting the nest and chromecast audio in the same one but I get the same result I'm afraid.

An update on your suggestion. I created speaker groups with just the chromecast audio devices in and set that as the default speaker for the nest hub and it worked!  Kudos to DeltaX for the suggestion.
