When I ask the Nest Hub to play a radio station such as RTE Lyric FM or a BBC channel it works fine, but when I ask it to play that on a Chromecast Audio called "KitchenSystem" it fails without any error, the screen just returns to the normal picture...

I can't believe this feature is being removed! There must be millions of nest home users who use this feature all the time. Replacing it with a crude broadcast option just does not cut it! The only alternative is to go back to calling my kids phones....

I have the same issues, when I ask a hub to call a room it says I am not setup for that, I ask it again, it works. The audio quality on calls between hubs is sometimes OK, other times rubbish. It is driving me mad.

An update on your suggestion. I created speaker groups with just the chromecast audio devices in and set that as the default speaker for the nest hub and it worked! Kudos to DeltaX for the suggestion.

Hi DeltaX, I tried creating groups and putting the nest and chromecast audio in the same one but I get the same result I'm afraid.

I have the same problem, language is en-gb as that is the closest to my location, which is Ireland. System firmware is 12.20230611.1.67, cast firmware is 1.70.377722.
