My google home speaker wont power on

I’m sorry to hear about what happened to your Google Home Mini speaker. Let’s further look into it. A few questions: are you still using the official power cord that came with your Google Home Mini? Have you tried plugging it into a different power outlet? Do you have other Google Home Mini devices aside from this? I’ll look forward to your response.

I have another speaker and switched power cords but still the same 

I have pulled the speaker apart but found nothing physically wrong so now ha junked it.

Pity, all this to go to land fill when there is probably a quick fix somewhere
