Unable to add recipes to Cookbook collection

I am trying to save recipes that I find on my phone to my cookbook collection to use on a Nest Home hub. None of the suggestions I've found online work after successfully adding only one recipe yesterday (accidentally moved it to Favorites and now unable to move back or re-add).

In the Google app or Chrome app, I can save a recipe to a collection but not the Cookbook collection. If I open all collections, I can move the recipes to another collection or two but NOT the one designated as the cookbook to be opened on a Nest Home hub (and in many cases to other collections as well - “grayed out”).

That certainly hasn’t been easy for you. We need to further narrow down your concern to better understand and gain the correct information. 

Are you saving your recipes through your phone or a web browser or straight from your Nest displays? Have you tried accessing your recipes via https://goo.gle/3Mc6RoS or other means? When you open the recipe page, does it have an option “move/transfer to device”?

Also, could you send us a photo in which an option is grayed out? Here’s how:

1. Hit reply or Start a new post.
2. Click Insert Image.
3. Choose an image source location.
4. Follow the on-screen instructions
5. Also, you can tap the "Drag and Drop" option. Maximum attachment is 5 MB.
