Unable to configure Nest hub MAX nest camera

My Google Hub Max nest camera stops working and goes offiline.

I tried resetting the device and app from multiple android Davies but still it's failing to configure.

It shows move closer to display when I keep phone besides it. 

After many attempts and glong through forum and youtube vedios, unable to figure out the reason or solution. So approaching community for help.

Thanks for posting here in the Google Nest Community.

This is not the experience that we wanted you to have, let me help you out. A few things: were there any recent changes made before the issue started? What is the exact message that you are getting from your Google Home app during setup? What is the distance between your WiFi router and your Nest Hub Max?

You can create a new home structure and set up your Nest Hub Max there and observe if it will make a difference. Check the steps below.

Create a home:

  1. Open the Google Home app.
  2. Tap Add .
  3. Tap Create a new home.
  4. Assign a home nickname, and enter the home address.

Before you reset your Nest Hub Max do the steps below.

  1. Make sure the device is plugged into a power source that’s tested and functional.
  2. Remove the device from the Google Home app.
    • Open the Google Home app.
    • Tap and hold the device's tile.
  3. Tap Settingsand then Remove device and then Remove.

Hi Juni,

I tired all the listed steps but still unable to configure nest camera in nest hub max.

I even joined preview program and updated the version to F8, but still facing the same error.

  • Cast firmware version of your Nest Hub Max.
  • Fuchsia version.
