Hi AHooper,
Thanks for posting.
Sorry to hear about that. Can you tell me how many Google speakers are you trying to connect with your Wi-Fi network? Also, how far are your Google speakers from the router?
I'd love to know more info so we can start some steps that might resolve this.
Best,
Princess

We have unable to connect any speakers to our wifi, as a consequence, we literally tried connecting them next to the router

Hi AHooper,
Thanks for responding.
Since you've mentioned from the previous thread that it's working using a mobile hotspot, what we need to look at is your router's settings. If you have a knowledge to access your router's settings, here are the settings to look at:
Configuring your Router Settings
Enable: Universal Plug and Play (UPnP), multicast, Internet Group Management Protocol (IGMP)
Disable: AP/client isolation, virtual private networks (VPNs), proxy servers, IGMP Proxy. VPNs and proxy servers should be disabled on your computer as well (if applicable).
Here's some additional information to keep in mind:
Keep me posted.
Best,
Princess
