I took my speaker with me on vacation and used it successfully on motel wifi.
Upon returning home, it failed to reconnect to my home wifi, on which it had previously worked perfectly. I have tried restarting the speaker repeatedly, restarted my phone, even tried removing from the Home app. Now when I try to add it again I get a message "This device was previously set up by a different user, please factory reset the device". When I attempt to do a factory reset by pressing on the lights... nothing happens.

See the Help topic below for factory reset instructions for Google Nest speakers. I don't think you ever press on the lights for a factory reset.

Thanks for your response.
For factory reset of mini 2nd gen it does say to 'Press and hold the center of the Nest Mini, where the lights are on top.' When I do that, nothing happens.

Oh, sorry.

So embarrassing but my Mini is actually first generation and I was able to locate the button and reset my unit --- working great now!

Glad to hear you were able to resolve it. (It's not always easy to tell which "generation" of a Google Nest product you have.)
