Most every day I ask my many different models of Google Nest speakers (Home Hub, 1st & 2nd Gen Minis, original Google Home) in various rooms of my home to "stream First Wave on SiriusXM" (one of my favorite channels) and the assistant will respond "Playing First Wave from SiriusXM" and the SiriusXM Channel 33 First Wave will start streaming.
Yesterday (7/7/24) when I asked my speakers to stream First Wave, I got a response "I looked for 33 on SiriusXM but it isn't available or can't be played right now." When I tried it again around 10 pm PT last night it was working correctly, but this morning it was again not working.
I can ask my Google Home speakers to play other channels on SiriusXM like '70s on 7' or '80s on 8' and it will stream those channels just fine. I un-linked and re-connected my SiriusXM account in the Home app on my Pixel 6 Pro, but the problem still occurs. I can launch the SiriusXM app on my Pixel phone and play First Wave channel 33, and cast it to my speakers, which is not very optimal. Is this a known issue with SiriusXM streaming?

Hello @mshulman,
Thanks for reaching out to the community about the difficulties you're having streaming SiriusXM's First Wave channel on your Google Nest speakers. It sounds frustrating that the channel is unavailable while others like '70s on 7' work just fine. Thanks for your effort but it seems like this is an issue directly with SiriusXM's First Wave since you can play other channels, but let's try the following steps:
If none of the steps above work for you, my recommendation would be to contact SiriusXM's First Wave support for further assistance.
Please let me know if you have any other questions. Thank you.
Regards,
Jorge
