Voice recognition for multiple users

Gibbyj

I want to set up voice recognition for multiple users in my Google home. But my son doesn’t have a phone.  I’ve added both him and myself as members of the home. What I’ve then tried to do, is change the current account for Google Home on my phone to be his account, and then set up voice recognition letting him answer the questions, say the phrases. But I’m having trouble getting that to work.  When I change the current account to be his account, I don’t even seem to see the relevant Home instance anymore.

Hi Gibbyj,

Thanks for reaching out and providing detailed information on your issue and the steps that you've taken—these are of great help!

Is your son older than 13 years old? What message are you getting from your Google Home app when you switch to your son’s account? Are you managing his account through the Family Link app? You can check out this article for more information on how to add a child account.

I look forward to your response.

Thanks,

Juni
