Ways to restrict or prevent temperature changes from google hub max screens?

This is super frustrating for a Google device, is there no way to prevent access on the google hub max from controlling the next thermostat? Little kids like to play with the screen and they change the temp. Really debating just moving over to the ecobee as it manages sensors drastically better with schedules and let’s me actually lock it.

Hi Bimes,

Thanks for posting.

This is not the experience we want you to have. Lock feature on your Google Nest Hub Max is not available to prevent your kids from playing with your Nest Thermostat.

Our team is working hard to deliver the best experience for our users — we'll take this as feedback. Keep your eye on the Google Nest Community page https://goo.gle/2JvnMRy for any updates. Please let me know if you have other questions or concerns as I will be locking this in 24 hours if I won't hear back from you again. Feel free to start a new thread and we'll be happy to help.

Check out this link on how to file feedback.

Best,

Dan
