When I ask my Google Mini to call my number, it calls the Google Mini in the other room!

When I ask my Google Mini to call my number, it calls the Google Mini in the other room. Not at all what I want.I used to be able to call myself, which I use in two situations.  First, if I cannot find my phone. Second, when I am out, my kids use the Google Mini to call me. The second is dangerous that they now cannot reach me. Help Please!

Welcome to our new forum! So sorry that you are having this new issue with your Google Mini! I can imagine how dangerous it must be with your children not being able to reach you in case of an emergency. There are a few different ways you can actually make calls with a Google Speaker, do you know which one your's is using?

I'd recommend reviewing this help article about how to Make calls with your Google Nest or Home speaker or display. Depending on which method you use, you'll want to click into that section as it will provide more details on how it works and as well as give you instruction on how to manage your contacts and other settings.
