When I change the volume on my Nest Hub Max, it changes automatically to 12 percent within a minute.
When listening Tune In, making video calls with Duo... annoying
I need to set it louder every minute if want to hear what the other party is telling
I have no routine that changes the volume
The option Lower the volume of video's and music when using google assistant is set to off
Tried to do a reboot but no success
When I change the volume to a value below 12 percent, it stays at this value.
12 percent seems to be the maximum I can set, without returning automatically to 12 percent.
The problem started september 25. Has anyone else this problem?

Hi Dan. Thank you ... After a factory reset (pressing up and bottom volume for 10 sec) no more automatic volume changes... Thx

Same here. YT Music plays songs at different loudness even when volume is at a set level. Issue just started at the end of September 2022. Never had this problem with my Nest Mini before.

Hello folks,
Thanks for posting.
We know how it feels if something’s not going your way. Let’s get to the bottom of this.
I appreciate all the steps you’ve tried. Let’s go ahead and do a complete reset and see if it goes back to normal. Click this link to factory reset your Google Nest Hub Max. As soon as resetting is done, set it up and let us know if you notice any changes.
Let me know if that changes things.
Best,
Dan

Hello Dan_A
The factory reset seemed to work to even out the volume leveling on most of my music. I'm thinking that my Nest Mini might be aging as I use her alot!
Thank you for the reply it looks like it will work!
