Why is google telling me my audio books will not play after February?

My son uses his Nest Hub 2 to read him audio books when he goes to bed.  He told me last night that google has been telling him that this feature will not be available after February!?!?
How is he suppose to have any of the audio books we've bought read to him now??

Yes I feel the exact same. The only way I listen to my audiobooks is through my Google display or my Google home.

I don't think Google should stop this. It's a very good feature and if they go a lot of people use it.

I agree. The features they are removing are going to cause major disruptions. I rely on my assistant for a variety of things. Using my voice to set reminders, schedule appointments, search for and cook recipes, even getting directions, not to mention playing music or listening to an audiobook. 🤦‍♀️
