Why is “hmm something went wrong, try again in a few seconds” an action to cancel my alarm?

I have given this feedback countless times and nothing seems to be done about it. The issue seems to be with google systems itself. Restarting and re adding all my home devices is not the answer and frankly is a rage inducing activity. When my alarm goes off in the morning and I say “hey Google, snooze” the response is very often “hmm something went wrong, try again in a few seconds” and a message is immediately displayed saying “alarm cancelled”

in what world would you expect any action to result from something asking to try again later?! In what world does it make sense to cancel an alarm when an action was not understood?!

This cannot be a local issue to me. It happens sporadically but often enough that I am getting really annoyed by this.

I have been having this problem for months no matter what I try to do - any question or request - "something went wrong" or "There was a glitch." Today, though, it has changed to "Your Google Home isn't set up yet. To get started, download the Google Home app on your phone or tablet."

I have spent the last couple of hours rebooting modems, doing factory resets on the mini, uninstalling & reinstalling the Google Home App, setting everything up repeatedly - and it all looks fine on my phone, but the only response I ever get from the speaker is "Your Google Home isn't set up yet...

same here - for 2 days - "there was a glitch" message - reset doesn't work- unplugging and replugging doesn't work - frustrating since a "few seconds" has turned into 2 days!
