Wifi connection problem

We recently purchased the Nest Hub 2nd Gen and a Nest Camera. They worked fine for 3 days and now all of a sudden the Nest Hub will no longer connect to our wifi. We also have an alexa in our bedroom, and it works just fine, as well as all of our other wifi connected devices. I have tried moving it to another location, and a factory reset. Neither of those worked.

Thanks for reaching out. I am sorry to hear that your Google Nest Hub is suddenly not working. I definitely understand your concern. First, I have some questions to get a better understanding of this situation.

  • Is your device showing up as connected in the Google Home App?
  • Are you seeing any error messages? On the device itself or the Google Home App?
    • What does the error message say?
  • What kind of WiFi do you have? (one router or WiFi points)
  • Could you try to do a quick reboot (unplug/plug) to your router? 
  • Have you tried connecting your device to a mobile hotspot instead? What happens?
