We have 4 Google nest speakers (and Google router), as well as about 5 devices all connected to my family account. When we try to play music on more than one device (using YouTube) I get a message saying my YouTube account is being used on too many devices. When I'm playing YouTube videos on my computer and music is playing on one or more Google speakers then my computer will only play one song then stop.

Hi @Sajhowe you've indicated you have a family account, are other members of your family part of your family group? Do you have a family group? Are members in the family group using their own accounts to use the features of your "family account"?
If the answer to any of these questions is "no," that would explain why you have this warning. Everyone is basically logged in as you so when you use it on your computer and someone decides to use it on their phone, the system switches to the new location and stops the other. It's not unlimited use or logins.
If you need help setting things up properly, let us know. I'd bet, though, you have things set up but your other users think they need to sign in with your account since it's your family account, and that's when the hiccup occurs.

Thanks GothamNY. That's helpful. When you say family account, do I need to set up an additional family account or just link the individual accounts for family members? One of our family members is also under 13 which creates problems adding her to the Home group (I had to go through Family Link).

No problem @Sajhowe, glad it helped explain what's going on.
You will need to set up an account as a family manager and invite your family members with their gmail account to join. Then they will share your family YouTube Music plan account, using their login, not yours. That way up to six speakers can play different music which is the maximum number of members one can have in a family group. Follow this link for help setting up the group and sharing your family music account. I know very little about family link, but they will be able to share some services and not others. You will have to check the requirements.
