YouTube only allowing to be played on one device at a time.

This just started. I used to play music and podcasts to all my 7 speakers. Now it won't allow me to play YouTube to more than 1 device.

I have rebooted everything, reinstalled all speakers and created rooms with them. I have one room for them all and it does not appear as an option when playing YouTube.

Hi KBallew,

Thanks for visiting the Community.

Are you referring to playing the same content on 7 different speakers at the same time? If yes, you need to make sure that these speakers are all connected on the same Wi-Fi network and was included in a speaker groups.

Create an audio group

  1. Make sure your mobile device or tablet is connected to the same Wi-Fi or linked to the same account as your Chromecast, or speaker or display.
  2. Open the Google Home app .
  3. At the top left, tap Add and then Create speaker group.
  4. Tap each device you want to add to the group. A check Check will appear next to each device you select.
  5. Tap Next enter a name for your group Save.

As soon as the speaker groups are created, command the speakers and see if this would make any changes.

Let me know how it goes.

Best,

Princess
