Hi!
I have two channel in the same Gmail account (brand account): I never use the channel A for nothing but I use the channel B for everything. In channel B I have hundreds of subscriptions and playlists for YouTube and YouTube Music and that's the one I've been using for years in my smartphone and laptops.
However, all of my nest devices (nest audio and nest hub) are linked to the channel A. For that reason, I can't never get the history of youtube and YouTube Music into my channel B and the best devices can't even play my own playlists (that I have in channel B). Neither i can use the history of the nest devices to create playlist for channel B or can't even know what's the name of many songs I would like to save in a playlist.
I have tried to force nest devices to link to channel B by setting that channel as the default one in the YouTube settings but the nests devices keep playing everything based in channel A. I have also tried by deleting the channel A but that didn't work, the nest devices keep playing without connecting to channel B.
Please, how can I solve this issue? It's very frustrating specially because YouTube doesn't even let me to merge Chanel B into Chanel A and I don't want to risk several years of dedication creating playlists and all of the subscriptions I have in channel B by trying with YouTube alternatives that could make me loss subscriptions and playlists.
Please, help me to know how to make nest devices to run linked to channel B.
Thanks!
Martín.

Yes, exactly. In fact, I use to think that Google nest were so dumb that they weren't able to play my playlists because they never found them. I did a test creating playlist with channel A and I discovered that nest is able to play easily the playlist when they're linked to the right channel. Also, it would be very easy to check the history of channel A and use it to create playlist in that channel. But the sad thing is that I have several years curating playlist and subscription in channel B and YouTube makes practically impossible to migrate that information from channel A to channel B, unless every subscription and playlist to be crated channel by channel and song by song.

Hello @MartinoHesse,
Thanks for posting in the community. I apologize for the inconvenience you are having.
I understand that your concern is playing music from a different YouTube channel on your Nest device.
To enjoy your playlists from a channel exclusively, you'll need to create a separate user account in YouTube Music. This involves manually importing your desired playlists from your main YouTube account.
Once you've set up this new user, you can switch to it within the YouTube Music app and access your playlists there
For more detailed instructions, you can visit the YouTube Help Center.
I hope this helps.
Thank you,
Catheryn.

Hi, Catheryn:
So there's no setting like "ok, Google switch to channel B" or similar to make nest devices play with that cannel?
I have been building playlist for many years, it would be imposible to rebuild all those playlist song by song 😔.

Hi MartinoHesse,
Thank you for posting.
I can only imagine how disappointing this must be since you saved all your playlists for years. Currently, this option on settings isn't available yet. All your experience and thoughts are really appreciated; please share your feedback so we can address it better in future updates.
As a suggestion from the previous post, you should create a new Gmail account to switch your playlists between accounts.
Let me know if you have any further questions.
Regards,
Byron
