find my iphone google mini

when I ask my mini to find my phone, the phone doesn’t do its normal ring, it’s a very very quiet tone, that is extremely hard to hear, ring volume is turned up. How do I make the iphone ring it’s normal ring tone?

Gotcha, thanks for trying. Could you go to your Google account settings and make sure that your device is updated? Check the instructions below:
 

1. Go to https://goo.gle/3aFSuU8

2. Tap the profile account on the top right corner 

3. Choose library & devices 

4. Tap the devices 

5. Uncheck your old mobile phone and put a check on mark on the new phone

Hi, yes did do this, don’t have an old phone, though, but did go through those steps. Still no luck with the phone ringing.

Thanks for trying. Could you adjust these settings and observe if this will make a difference?
 

Turn on notifications and Critical alerts:

  1. Open the Google Home app Google Home app.
  2. Tap Settings and then Notifications.
  3. If you have the option, tap Turn on Notifications and then Go to settings. This takes you to the Google Home screen in your iPhone’s Settings app. 
    • If you don’t have the option to turn on notifications, this may mean notifications are already turned on. 
  4. Tap Notifications and then turn on Allow Notifications.
  5. Go back to the Google Home app for the setting to take effect.
  6. To turn on Critical alerts, from the home screen, tap Settings and then Notifications and then General notifications and then turn on Critical alerts.

Set up Voice Match:

  1. Open the Google Home app Google Home app.
  2. At the top right, tap your account.
  3. Verify that the Google Account shown is the one linked to your speaker or display. To switch accounts, tap the triangle next to the Google Account, then tap another account or Add another account.
  4. Tap Assistant settings Voice match Add a device.
  5. Make sure that you check any devices you want to to use to Find My Phone for.
  6. Tap Continue I agree.
  7. Follow the in-app steps.
  8. To get your personal information, you must turn on Personal results. Tap I agree and proceed with the Voice Match setup.
  9. To invite others to set up Voice match for tailored results, tap Invite choose your communication method, and send the invite. To skip this step, tap No thanks.
